Please see below for some resources. These are just some ideas - you have to taylor to your “students.” Please let us know if you have any questions!
For younger children:
Play games like this: https://www.gamestolearnenglish.com/
Ask them icebreaker questions (link below)
For homework ask them to watch cartoons in english found on youtube like peppa pig https://www.youtube.com/c/peppapig or masha and the bear in english https://www.youtube.com/c/MashaBearEN
First Lesson:
Introduce yourself
Have your student talk about themselves
Ask questions like “How old are you” “Where are you from” etc
Then go to number 2
Following Lessons:
Talk about speech->https://www.youtube.com/c/EnglishSpeeches
Go through the documents in order using: https://eslfriend.com/esl-lesson-beginner/
Using the documents you will ask questions and go throughout the lesson plan accordingly.
You will need to figure out how you want to teach the lesson.
Example: “Make a sentence using these words”
Rest of the lesson:
For the rest of the lesson you will need to keep them talking( No russian!!). A few methods you can use are:
Icebreakers:https://lindsayannlearning.com/icebreaker-questions-for-teens/(Ask them questions from the website)
Ask them their routine
Ask them about school
Ask them about their interests
Do not ask yes or no questions (these will bring the conversation to a halt)
Rest of the lesson:
Assign them a video (your choice) from the English Speeches youtube channel (Linked Above) to watch for next class. Try to make it a decent length and pick one you think your student will enjoy. You also need to send the next lesson to them in advance so they can prepare.
